Need a Metal Garage?

There is still time for you to place your order before the busy season starts! As you know, there are places where summer can have the perfect weather, a nice breeze, and clear skies without being humid or terribly hot. However, there are certain areas where summer can feel suffocating because of the intense heat. If we suffer from the blazing sun, imagine what our vehicles go through when they’re parked outside our homes, receiving all that heat with no protection whatsoever every day.

Parking your vehicle where it is exposed to direct sunlight can be very damaging, as you may know. The intense temperatures in the summer can damage your dashboard and seats as well as your vehicle’s finish and engine. That’s why it’s better to prepare for this summer while there’s still time to order your metal garage. Take this 24’W x 26’L x 9’H metal garage as an example:

• Vertical Roof

• Horizontal Sides & Ends

• 30″x30″ Window

• 2 – 36″x72″ Walk-In Doors

• 2 – 9’x7′ Roll-Up Doors

• Mobile Home Anchors

Parking your vehicle inside a garage to avoid direct sunlight is the easiest way to protect it. If it’s safe to do so, open the windows a crack in order to equalize and lower the air temperature and pressure inside. Remember that we can customize any metal unit per your needs and specifications.

Let’s Get Your Vehicles Protected

We’re almost halfway through March, folks! It’s time to get your metal garage ready before the intense heat starts to hit us. Our metal garages will protect your vehicles, equipment, or any valuables you might consider storing inside.

All of our garages come in different sizes. The key to getting a good-sized metal garage is to know the dimensions you’re looking for. Many customers will freeze when we ask what dimensions they want. That won’t stop our experts from recommending certain sizes that will work for you – but keep in mind that if you need the additional space to store something besides your vehicle, it would be better for you to measure the space needed.

Take a look at this 30’W x 31’L x 12’H garage:

There’s plenty of space for your vehicles and enough to fit an average-sized truck inside. It also has a vertical roof, our most recommended roof style, horizontal siding, 2 (two) 10’ x 10’ roll-up doors, 2 (two) 30” x 30” windows, and a 36” x 80” walk-in door.

What if I like the concept of the building, but I need to change the length?

We would be more than happy to customize your metal garage according to your needs. All of the pictures we post are live examples of what we can do. If you need us to customize it, we will do it!

Plenty of Space for Your Toys!

There’s still plenty of time to get your metal garage before summer gets in the way! As you know, it’s very important to keep our valuables and vehicles under a roof. If you want them to last a long time, they need to be protected from sun damage and harsh weather.

The key to our metal buildings is that we will customize and transform them according to your needs and preferences; not to mention that ALL our buildings are engineer-certified!

Although American Steel Carports does not offer any concrete work, furthermore, we will provide concrete anchors to secure your structure—not to mention that you can get our 90-mph wind warranty when you purchase all the anchors needed. Take this 24’W x 51’L x 9’H metal garage as an example:

• A-Frame Vertical Roof
• Horizontal Sides & Ends
• 2 – Walk-in Doors (diamond window)
• 4 – 30″x30″ Windows (2 on each end)
• 4 – 10’x8′ Roll-Up Doors (on the side)

This metal garage has a vertical roof, one of the best roof styles we offer. Besides its pleasant-looking residential style, it allows natural elements such as snow, dirt, water, and leaves to slide off very easily. Also, once a metal building exceeds 30’ in length, we recommend choosing a vertical roof to eliminate the possibility of leaks in the future. Another important fact, is having your roll-up doors on the side can give you plenty of advantages when it comes to this type of building, since it’s cheaper to grow in length than in width.

Your metal garage is just one call away! Ask to speak with one of our sales representatives who will help customize your metal building according to your needs. Also, don’t forget to ask about our financing options. Want to see our buildings in person? Ask for your local dealer!

3-Bay Metal Building

If you have multiple vehicles at your house, it may be a little challenging to get every single one protected from the weather, especially if the only garage you have is the one attached to your house. Moving the other cars just to get one out can be quite annoying, too, especially if you’re in a hurry or the weather isn’t cooperating.

This scenario happens pretty often. That’s why American Steel Carports encourages you to acquire a 3-bay metal garage for your vehicles. The big advantage of having your garage doors on the side of the building, instead of the end, is that expanding in length is not as expensive as expanding in width. End walls are pricier due to the material needed. With your garage doors on the side, your cars will be just as secure, and at a lower cost.

Take a look at this 26’W x 36’L x 12’H 3-bay metal building as an example:

• A-Frame Vertical Roof

• Horizontal Sides & Ends

• 2 – Windows

• 36×80 Walk-In Door

• 3 – 10×10 Roll-Up Doors (on the side)

*Disclaimer: interior designs may vary by state or region. Buildings may require additional trusses to meet local codes. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice. Please contact our sales department for our latest prices.

Remember that we can always adjust the length, width, and height according to your needs. Door sizes can always be changed. The pictures are just examples of designs and styles that our customers opt for according to their specifications and tastes.

You can always come up with your own design as well. If you have a project in mind, or if you’re looking for a more customized building, give us a call! Let one of our sales representatives assist you. Keep in mind that we can always provide a free sketch for visual purposes until we get to your desired design. Don’t forget to ask for our financing options!

Metal Garage in New Mexico

Allow your metal building to withstand all seasons with no problem at all!

When it comes to protection for your vehicle, there are many factors to consider before purchasing a metal garage. Depending on where you live, some factors will include snow loads, heavy rain, strong winds, etc. Lucky for you, American Steel Carports builds nothing but engineer-certified metal buildings.

Our A-frame vertical roof is the strongest of all. This option is engineered to allow snow, dirt, and rain to slide off without any difficulty. The ribs on the panels run from the peak of the roof toward the eaves. Hat channels are also added to further support the vertically running metal sheets. Remember that this roof style comes with a 6” overhang around the carport/garage, blocking a high percentage of precipitation from entering the unit.

Take a look at this 18’W x 26’L x 9’H in 14-Gauge metal building installed in Gallup, NM:

This metal building has our vertical roof with horizontal sides and ends and is rocking our pebble beige and earth brown colors. This building also has our 90-mph wind warranty, which becomes available when our customers purchase all of the required anchors.

Remember that American Steel Carports DOES NOT offer any concrete work, so the ground surface must be level before we can install your metal building.

Does it snow frequently in your area? Give us a call and let one of our sales representatives help you customize your metal building by adding extra reinforcement. Not sure what your building will look like? We can provide you with a sketch for visual purposes so that we’re on the same page according to your expectations. Remember, this is your building, your creation—and we want to deliver the best experience possible with our company.

Looking for a Metal Building With Insulation?

Our metal buildings offer great protection when it comes to inclement weather. The versatility of steel allows us to transform and shape your building according to your desired specifications and needs.

Despite the versatility of our buildings, however, one other option that we offer is insulation. Insulation can be a little pricey—but, in the end, it’s your belongings that are getting protected from the harsh weather conditions. Please be aware that insulation can only be installed on vertical metal buildings. That means that if you need your building to be fully insulated, the whole building must be vertical (siding).

Take a look at this 24’W x 36’L x 9’H metal building that’s fully insulated:

•Fully Vertical

• Fully Insulated

• Three 9’x7′ Roll-Up Doors (two on the front end, and one on the side)

• 36″ x 84″ Heavy Duty Door (on the side)

• Concrete Anchors

• Welded “L” Brackets

*Interior designs may vary by state or region. The above design is effective for only a 30 PSF (ground snow load) and may require additional trusses to meet local codes. Additionally, lateral support might be required based on wind loads.

This beauty was installed in Williams, AZ. Since the slab is the same size as the metal building, we needed to include an “L” bracket to anchor the building without chipping the edge of the slab. Those come with an additional price.

There are endless ways to customize your metal building. If you have a sketch of what you’re picturing, our experts will work around the measurements and features in order to meet your needs. And with 12 different colors to choose from, you can add your own personal touch at no additional charge.
