The opening of our first shop in Ohio marked a significant milestone for both the growth of American Steel and the steel carport industry.
American Steel Carports officially became established as a corporation.
2000
2002
We expanded our business by opening a second shop in Illinois that can now deliver to Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri.
In order to broaden our delivery coverage to multiple states, we strategically opened a shop in Pennsylvania. Our delivery services now extend to New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Maryland.

2007
The long-awaited plant in Colusa, California finally came to fruition ready to serve California’s surrounding states – Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
We relocated to our headquarters from Ohio to Joshua, Texas and proudly serve Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas and parts of Mississipi.
2008
2017
The company expanded and opened up another shop in Indiana allowing us to serve Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Tennessee. By this point, the Ohio shop was closed down.
New Mexico has graciously opened its doors to us, granting us the opportunity to extend our services to the residents of Arizona, as well as select regions of Utah and Colorado.
