Protect your Vehicles with an Affordable Metal Carport

This summer is definitely hitting us hard with the intense heatwave we had last week, and it looks like the temperatures are going to stay in the high 90s or 100s. At least here at our headquarters in Texas, the weather has been pretty suffocating. But hey—no surprise, right?

Parking under the shade might not seem like a relief, but it really is. The shade might not be able to keep your vehicle completely cool, but you can tell the difference right away compared to leaving your car exposed to direct sunlight. Not many of us are lucky enough to have a tree or an attached garage to park our vehicles under, however. Don’t get discouraged! Just remember that we need to protect our belongings instead of leaving them exposed to any type of weather, not just the sun.

If you don’t want to spend that much money on a metal carport, then you’ve definitely come to the right place. American Steel Carports offers affordable, engineer-certified steel structures of a high quality and durability for the right price. Maybe this 20’W x 21’L x 6’H standard partially enclosed metal carport can be the solution to your problems:

Standard roof structures can save you money, since the roof is already included in the base price. With our 14-gauge galvanized tubing option, moreover, you’ll still get our one-year workmanship warranty.

Contact us now to speak with one of our sales representatives. We will help you find the right building according to your needs without going over your budget. And don’t forget to ask about our financing options!

RV Cover with flexibility

Don’t leave your second home unprotected! Let American Steel Carports help you build a carport that will keep your RV safe from inclement weather.

RVs offer us the freedom to travel around the country and beyond in the comfort of our own home. The ability to sleep in a cozy bed, maintain your privacy, and even cook without paying for a hotel room makes an RV a valuable investment that not many of us can afford. This means it’s important to protect your RV from the natural elements.

The sun can keep us warm, but it can harm our vehicles too, and this includes RVs. Some people park their RVs indoors at special facilities, but the cost can be high. So why not park and store your RV at home?

We work with skilled installers who can put up your metal RV cover in hours. Take a look at this 30’W × 46’L × 12’H cover we installed in Littlefield, Arizona:

This is just one example of what we can do. This customer chose to cover only part of the sides of the RV. If you want to customize your cover, our sales representatives can always help you and can provide you with a quote and even a sketch, if you want one.

We know that our metal buildings can be a big investment, but it’s important to keep in mind that they will stay strong and protect your vehicles from bad weather. Remember, we also offer financing options. Click here for more information.

14′ Tall Metal Carport

Looking for a simple carport for your RV? Does your RV overpass the 12-foot standard height from the flyers?

At American Steel Carports, we ensure that our metal buildings meet all of your expectations and needs. We can accommodate your requirements, especially when it comes to building permits. Keep in mind that we can add as much material as your unit needs in order to make sure it’s fully protected and certified for the requirements of the city. However, it’s important for you to go to your local building department and talk to them in order to verify all of the state codes. Since all of the states have different requirements when it comes to installations, they might need to see plans or specifics.

When our customers look for metal RV covers, they can be concerned when the leg height that they’re looking for isn’t listed on the pricing flyers. But that doesn’t mean that we cannot go taller than 12 feet; in fact, the tallest we can go on a building is 20 feet in height. However, keep in mind that the leg height cannot exceed the width of the unit.

Take this metal carport as an example. It’s 14 feet tall:

  • 30’W x 41’L x 14’H
  • 12-Gauge Galvanized Tubing
  • A-Frame Vertical Roof

All of our metal units are engineer-certified, and with their one-year workmanship warranty, we allow our buildings to go through all four seasons to make sure that they don’t have any leaks or issues.

Give us a call! If wind and/or snow loads are your main concerns, don’t forget to ask our representatives about our wind warranties and how we can certify your unit when it comes to large amounts of snow.

Top Seller from Texas

Guess what’s new again? You got it! Another agricultural building.

Agricultural buildings have become one of the favorite buildings to build, and they are the top sellers of the year. Regardless of the season, agricultural buildings offer great protection for your valuable belongings as well as for your livestock. The use of an agricultural building varies depending on your needs, and with 12 colors to choose from, you can add your own personal touch.

Before purchasing an agricultural building, you’ll need to know the measurements of the main unit and the lean-to’s (the wings connected to the main unit). We will customize to your needs and requirements.

The next thing to known is how tall you want the unit to be. We offer three heights: the main unit, the drop, and the lean-to’s. We want to make sure that the height can accommodate what you’re planning to put inside.

Finally, you’ll need to know the number of windows or doors. Windows aren’t always required, especially in this type of building. And most of our customer can easily access their center building without the need for doors; for this reason or because of livestock, they opt for frame-outs instead.

This is a great example of an agricultural building installed in Bellevue, TX.

• 22’W x 26’L x 12’H (Center Unit)

• A-Frame Horizontal Roof

• 2 – 10’x10′ Frame Outs

• 2 -10’W x 26’L x 10’/8’H Lean-Tos

• 9’x7′ Roll-Up Door

• Mobile Home Anchors

Remember that we offer a warranty for wind up to 90 mph if you purchase all the anchors needed for your building.

Utility Carport Installed in Colorado

Have you heard of our utility buildings? Many of our customers opt to have a utility unit instead of a regular garage. These units don’t only offer protection for your vehicle; they can also work as a storage room. The storage spacing varies depending on our customers’ needs. Some of our customers expand the storage room to use it as an extended garage or even as their own shop. Regardless of how you plan to use the storage room, we want to meet your expectations and needs.

We know our buildings can be a high investment, but we want to give you the most durable material, and most importantly, a product that is engineer-certified.

A good example of this storage room is this utility carport installed in Trinidad, Colorado.

18’W x 31’L x 7’H

A-Frame Vertical Roof

10-Ft. Storage Room

8 x 6 Roll-Up Door

36″ x 72″ Walk-In Door (on the side)

Because the building has an A-frame vertical roof (with panels running from the roof peak toward the eaves), it allows snow, dirt, water, and leaves to run off easily, so you won’t have to worry about maintenance for a long time.

The unit has a 20-ft. carport and a 10-ft. storage room. Remember, the spacing and design can adapt to your unique needs.

Two-Car Garage Residential Style

At American Steel Carports, we want to meet your expectations and give you a few options and recommendations for your metal building or garage.

For example, we’ve seen many customers who feel that they need to build wider to make a garage for two vehicles, but who worry that this will increase the price. But putting roll-up doors on the sides is another good way to approach this, especially for two-vehicle garages. Roll-up doors on the sides definitely help make space for vehicles, and this can be adapted to a residential style too (by adding windows, doors, etc.) Please note: Leg height needs to be 1ft tallers than the door height.

This is a great example of a two-car garage installed in Bradford, Arkansas.

It’s stylish, but the best part is that the building is engineer-certified. This

unit was made from 12-gauge galvanized tubing, which gives it a 20-year warranty against rust-through of the framing. With the unit being fully vertical, it allows elements such as dirt, snow, water, etc. to run-off very easy, and it won’t require that much maintenance compared to a horizontal siding unit. It also has a 90 mph wind warranty when you purchase all anchors needed for it; in this case the customer had mobile home anchors.

Hexagonal Barn in New Mexico

American Steel Carports takes pride in having happy and satisfied customers when it comes to building their own creations. Because steel can be easily customized, we can transform any kind of design into a reality, not to mention that we will certify your creation to last for many years.

Do you have any drawings? No problem—our engineering department will take care of turning your drawings into a unique design.

Take, for example, this incredible building with a hexagonal roof and a lean-to. Our customer didn’t mention what the structure would be used for; however, the unit can be used as a barn to store farm equipment, hay, and animal feed.

Hexagonal roofing, Metal Hexagonal Building

18x26x9 Hexagonal Roof Vertical Siding, with a Lean-To of 10x26x7. 2 Windows, 10×10 Roll-Up Door, 36×80 Walk-In Door

The structure was made with 12-gauge tubing, which automatically gives the building a 20-year warranty on rust-through of the framing. In addition, the hexagonal roof is in vertical style; this kind of roofing is the most recommendable when it comes to maintenance. Because the sheets are placed vertically, water, snow, leaves, or dirt will run-off very easily without the need of a constant care.

This kind of vertical style on a horizontal roof makes the structure a unique American Steel Carports feature.

Amazing, isn’t it? Our customer chose traditional barn colors, but remember that you can choose the colors you want on your building; we have a variety of them. You can always check them out by clicking here. Need color samples? Give us a call, and we’ll be more than happy to send you the colors you want to see.
